Specialist for shoulder and elbow surgery

Before joining the OCM, Prof. Kilian Wegmann worked in a senior position at the University Hospital Cologne for over ten years, where he concentrated on treating shoulder and elbow condisions. All-round patient care is something that is very close to his heart. He tends to all kinds of conditions and injuries to shoulders and elbows for his patients. What Prof. Wegmann really appreciates about his work at the OCM is the close contact with patients and working in a highly motivated team.

Thanks to regular active contributions at professional congresses and his consistent academic work, Prof. Wegmann has become an internationally renowned specialist in his field. He has written more than 100 international academic publications and is the author of several articles in books. In addition, he supports the work of various national and international expert associations and is the second Vice-President of the D-A-CH Association for Shoulder and Elbow Surgery (DVSE).
